SMS notification allows you to send any Store / Joobi applications emails into your customers mobile phones.

These are the available supported SMS companies:

  • callfire.com
  • bulksms.com
  • clickatell.com
  • itagg.com
  • nexmo.com
  • SMS Masivo

If you want us to support your favorite or local SMS provider, please contact us via ticket system and we will do our best to add them for free in return you need to help us do the testing.

Requirements

  • You need to install jContacts to manage you customers and ask for a mobile phone during registration

Enable jContacts registration

  • From the admin panel, go to jApps >> Preferences >> Users Tab
  • Under Profile section, you need to enable "Use Mobile"
  • To collect user mobile number, you need to use jContacts user registration by creating a menu for it

Enable SMS mailer

  • From the admin panel, go to jApps >> Design >> Emails >> Mailers
  • Create a new mailer by clicking "New".
  • Fill in all required information for your mailer and then click "Save" to save your changes.

  • Navigate to jApps >> Preferences >> Mail Tab
  • Select Use CMS Default >> Multiple Mailers
  • Enable SMS Texting >> Yes
  • Split SMS >> Yes/No (optional) The message will split in multiple sms if the message is more than 160 characters.
  • Click [Save] to save your changes.

Enable SMS messaging into your store emails templates

  • Go to jApps >> Design >> Emails
  • Enable the SMS for the emails you want to be sent in SMS

  • Once you find the email you want to use, edit it.
