Allow store vendor's to resell an item from another vendor. It means they can list someone else item to their own catalog.

  • From the admin panel, navigate to jMarket >> Vendors >> Preferences
  • From the preferences page, go to Miscellaneous Tab
  • Select 'Allow Resellers' under Syndication and Resellers section
  • Define if you want to approve the reseller and click [Save] to save your changes.

No syndication: reseller possible on all items
Vendor: each vendor decide if they allow reselling of their items.
Type: The reseller is decided by the item type preference
Item: reseller preference needs to be define in each item.

Things you need to know

  • Reseller functionality utilizes Paypal Adaptive Payment to automatically transfer the money between admin, vendor and reseller.
  • To resell a product, a vendor must be login in the storefront.
  • This percentage is set by the store Admin and it is same for all re-sellers.
  • Store vendor needs to approve the re-seller in order for him to be able to resell the vendor Items
  • The current system is unable to process commission between vendor to vendor. It can only process between admin, vendor and reseller.

Create Reseller Commission Program

  • From admin panel, navigate to Vendors > Programs
  • Click [New] to create Reseller Program
  • Select [Reseller] type under Specific section
  • Click[Save] to save your changes

  • Your will be redirected Rate page to add the commission rate
  • Click [New] to add reseller rate and define your commission either percentage or fixed price
  • Click[Save] to save your changes
