Acajoom has been the most downloaded and popular newsletter extension for Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 in the early days (2007-2010). With technology evolving fast, we realized the need to make a better newsletter extension able to keep up with the latest technology and of-course easier to maintain.
As a result, we launched a new newsletter extension for Joomla called "jNews" in January 2010 . These fulfill many of the requests we’ve heard from our Acajoom users and ensure future compatibility for coming Joomla versions.
All Acajoom users can update to jNews for free and all data will be automatically migrated. However since the release of Joomla 2.5.x and Joomla 3.x, we do not guarantee any working migration from Acajoom to jNews.
