This article explains how to configure Affiliate Configuration.

General

Partnership

  • Cookies Lifetime: Define here the amount of days the affiliate number needs to be recorded in the user cookies.
  • Affiliate URL Code: Define the code to enter in the URL for the affiliate number. User will enter jaffid=THEIR_CODE to validate the affiliate number. Warning: if you change to something else make sure to use a code which is different that standard website URL variable otherwise it might conflict with other application on your site.
  • Consumer Name: If yes, a partner can see the names of the users in his listings. On the other case he will see only the username.
  • Default Partner ID: The indicated Partner ID would receive the commission when no Partner is provided in the order sales.
  • Affiliate Number Size: Size of the affiliate number which will be used to communicate between the partner web site and your web site.
  • Affiliate ID in Links: Yes, to add the affiliate link to all links generated by the user. For example, the social links when a user favorite or share a item on the wall.
  • Registration Auto-subscribe: Define a list of program ID to which you want all new registered users to be automatically subscribed to. If there are more than one program please separate each ID with a comma.

Withdrawals

  • Minimum Request: Value for minimum withdrawal request of partner commission.
    The currency used is the Store default currency.
  • Allow Automatic Payment: Define to allow to pay commissions automatically through the chosen payment system.
  • Payment System: Chose the payment system to use to make automatic payment of commissions.
Important

Automatic payment is only available using Paypal Adaptive Payments. For withdrawals, money must be transferred using any available mode of payment transfer.

Scheduler

  • Max Days for Returns: Enter the maximum days for refund of commission here. Note that this will be used to check for how many days commission can be refunded and also whatever entered here is read as days e.g 30 for 30 days

Notification

Email to the Partner

  • Subscription Confirmation: A confirmation email will be send to the partner after he has subscribe for an affiliate program.
  • Cancellation Confirmation: A confirmation email will be send to the partner after he has canceled his partnership.
  • Admin Manual Subscription: A notification email will be send to the partner after the administrator has subscribe him/her.
  • Cancellation by admin: A notification email will be send to the partner after the administrator has canceled his/her subscription.
  • Block a subscription: A notification email will be send to the partner after the administrator has blocked his/her subscription.
  • Commission Notification: Send a notification email for each commission received.
  • Contact Email Address: Email address displayed as the contact one in the notification emails to the partner.

Email to the Admin

  • Partner Subscription: A notification email will be send to the admin after a partner has subscribe to the affiliate program.
  • Admin Email: Enter here the admin email you want use for the withdraw notification emails to be sent.

  • We are unable to provide 24/7 customer support. Support schedule and availability is listed above.

Delayed Support?

In general, you can expect a response within 24-48 hours for most issues within our scope. However there are still rare occasions where the delay in support is inevitable. If you do not hear from us for over 48 hours, you can follow-up by bumping the live-chat with your ticket number.

Expired Membership?

We do not guarantee any reply for members with an expired membership. We either close your ticket without notification or recommend that you renew your subscription.
