This article explains how to create relationship between Parent and Child Pick-list. This is useful when you want to show only the pick-list that is related to the parent you selected.

For instance if you are selling cars, you want to show only the child pick-list (Volkswagen Golf) to the parent pick-list which is Brand (Volkswagen). It does not make any sense if you are viewing Volkswagen but you are seeing Toyota Corolla in the selection.

Step 1 Create a Pick-list type field

• From the admin panel, naviaget to [any Joobi products] >> Tools >> Models & fields / Fields
• Select Fields ( 0) Fields column next to "Product" or [any field type]
• From the fields page, click New to create a field
• Select "pick-List" type and Fill in all other field data and assign it to the location you want the field to appear
• Click save once you are done

Step 2 Create a parent Pick-list

• From the field creation page, under 'Form Parameters" you need to create your new pick-list by clicking New/Edit button

• From the Pick-lists window, click 'New' button to create a picklist
• After you need to add pick-list values

Step 3 Create a child Pick-List

• From the field creation page, under 'Form Parameters" you need to create your new pick-list by clicking New/Edit button
• From the Pick-lists window, click 'New' button to create a picklist
• Assign the parent pick-list you created step 2 under Parent Tab

• After you need to add a pick-list values and assign a Parent Value
• Click save once you are done
