This article explains how to manage customers and roles.
For stores with multiple vendors, unique Roles can be created for different types of users. For example if you have two type of vendors; A vendor that sells electronic products and a vendor that sells shippable goods, they can be given access to upload only electronics but locked of the ability to create shippable goods.
How to makea Joobi User Role Equivalent to a Joomla User Group
This only applies to users who create Joomla User Group to create an access to a specific menu.
1. After you created your new Joomla User Group, select Components >> jCenter >> User >> Roles
2. From the Role page, Click the [New] button to add a role
3. Fill in all the required fields, which are indicated by a red asterisk (*). Most of the options obtain a tooltip that will help you explain its usage.
4. Make sure to select CMS Equivalent to your new role.
5. Click the [Save] button to save your changes.
Creating Roles
There is no limit to the nubmer of roles that be created, so you can create as many roles as you need.
1. From the Admin panel, select Components >> jCenter >> User >> Roles
2. From the Role page, Click the [New] button to add a role
3. Fill in all the required fields, which are indicated by a red asterisk (*). Most of the options obtain a tooltip that will help you explain its usage.
4. Click the [Save] button to save your changes.
