Understanding Custom Fields
Custom fields will allow you to create additional fields in order to show additional information for your customers. This is a valuable feature, especially if you are looking to display additional information for your products and vendors.
You can add and show fields in the following areas;
Products
- Product Page
- Product Listing backend
- Product Edit backend
Vendors
- Vendor Home
- Vendor Profile
- Vendor Profile Edit (frontend)
- Vendor Profile Edit (backend)
- Vendors Registration Form (frontend)
- List of Vendors for Customers
- List of Vendors for Store Manager
If you have multiple product types requiring different fields you can enable a specific field to show only for that specific product type.
