Create product tabs

This article explains how to create additional tabs in tabulation view.

Step 1 — Log into the Joomla administration area
Step 2 — Navigate to “App you are using” in the Tools menu >> Models & Fields
Step 3 — Locate Model Type (Product, Subscription, Vouchers, etc...) and simply click on the Fields column "Fields (0)".

Step 4 — Click New to create a Field
Step 5 — Fill in all necessary information for your new field. Read this article to understand how to create a custom field.

Step 6 — In the Fields edit page, click the icon under Edit View column to create a view.

A pop-up window will show all available elements in the product page.

Step 7 — Click New and Fill in all necessary information.

Set the following;

Type: Tab Container
Area: MiddleCenter

Step 8 — Click [ Save ] to save your changes.
Step 9 — In the field edit page, select your newly created View under the Area column.

Step 10 — Click [ Save ] to save your changes.

If you want to create more tabs, you need to create more Views and assign it in Tabulation.

Step 11 — Now go back to the View page by following Step 6 and locate "Description" view and change the area to Tabulation.

Note: It is important to change the area of the "Description" to Tabulation if you want to show Tabs.

Step 13  — Click [ Save ] to save your changes.

Step 14 — Now go to your store product page and it should look similar below image.
