This article explains how to convert email message into ticket.
A customer can send emails and it will be automatically created as a ticket with the original requester set as the requester of the ticket.
Step 1 — In the admin panel, navigate to Components >> jTickets >> Preferences > Integration Tab

Step 3 — Click [Save] to save your changes.
Step 4 — Setup the mailbox to automate the conversion.
Navigate to jTickets >> Tools >> Mailboxes
Step 5 — Create a Mailbox and fill in the correct mailbox information to be able to connect and process the emails automatically.

Step 6 — Turn on the ticket widgets
In the mailboxes page, click Widgets(0) under Assign column.


Step 7 — Once you created your mailbox, try to click Process or Connect to test the connection.

Step 8 — Verify if you have Task running to trigger your mailbox.
Navigate to Components >> jTickets >> Tools >> Schedule and locate for Handle Messages
Try to click Process button to test the connection.

Step 9 — To test the ticket conversion try to send an email to your bounce email. After few minutes it should be converted to a ticket. If the email is not converted to a ticket it means you are using a wrong mailbox information.
