Hello,

Go to catalog >> Files, these are the files in your store images, videos, etc...

From this page you can see the file location if you hover or inspect the location of the file.

Once added, you can go back to your product and attach the file.

Select the file you added base from the screenshot below.

P.S - Don't worry if page is not refreshed. Just close the modal window and click save button and the file should show up once the page is refreshed.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Cheryl

Hi,

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Im still a little confused and im not sure what to do.

1) the preview is not working

2) I don't understand how to add a movie file that is big, about 206mb

When i go in to JStore, i i go to catalogue and i dont see any File options.

I moved my file over using FTP to: http://www.mikaelawitt.com/shop/images/mika/movies/0002-hd-download-mpeg.zip

The preview file i uploaded directly as thats only 13mb.

I can't see the preview file on the site but the filename appears, see attached file.

BTW you can see my shop here: http://www.mikaelawitt.com/shop

Not sure what im doing wrong.

thanks for your time,

Mike

Hello,

The file menu of jStore is not added as it is for jmarket only.

You can access it by launching to yor browser.

yourste.com/administrator/index.php?option=com_jstore&controller=files

Put your video and files there... You can inspect the location.

Preview

https:/yoursite.com/joobi/user/media/products/preview/myvideo.mp4

For the download file path..

http://www.yoursite.com/joobi/user/media/download/myfile.zip

Make sure your video file is not corrupted... In your ftp, verify if the file size is still correct file size after you move it to the correct folders.

I'm still very confused as to how you add the files.

Have you got a tutorial for this, or video..?

Im very interested in making this work so please help me.

Do you have any step by step instructions..?

Thanks,

Mike

I am not sure why you making the upload so difficult. The default feature is you upload why do it in ftp?

Catalog >> preferences >> item tab

Easy Upload

Drag the files here;

Max file size in php.ini need to be bigger than the size of your files.

Hi,

Im not sure why im finding this difficult either but im trying my best.

The files i am trying to sell are 200-400mb HD Video files.

I do not have access to the php.ini, so i cant change the 64mb limit.

Does that mean its not possible..?

I will try again later tonight.

I'm glad it worked for you now.

Actually most server does not allow you to access to your php.ini and this could be a problem if you have big files to upload.

However some server like 1&1 which i have for test site (share server), does not allow you to access php.ini but you can append your own php.ini and put it in you admin folder of Joomla in the FTP which overwrite the php.ini.

Let me know if I can help you further.
