Jnews: how to translate a few texts into spanish
Status:
Solved
ID:

I am started to use jnews, but there are a few automatically inserted texts that I would have to translate into spanish to make the newsletter acceptable. Examples: "Read more", "View in the Web" (or some similar text), etc. I was unable to find where are these texts in Jnewsletter. Could you help me, please?

Already found it (in joomla/administrator/components/com_jnewsletter/language/spanish.php).
Now, the next trouble:
Both, in the non-html versión of the newsletter and in the "Read more" link (I replaced the text with "Leer más" on spanish.php) the special characters (like á é ñ and so on) are not properly coded and the look like an unrecognized character. What can I do now?

Hello Jose,
Would you mind giving me backend access to your site so that I can have a look to this issue you are currently experiencing?
I'll be waiting for your response on this. Thank you..
Kind Regards,
Evelyn

I am using jnews on a local server to test it, so I cannot give you access. I am sorry!
Anyway, I managed to solve the problem editing the translation with notepad instead of Wordpad. It seems as if wordpad was changing something in the character codification...
