User registration

Hi there,

I want to disable ALL kinds of registrer, logins on the shop.

I marked "checkout" as "guest", I disabled user registration and login, but it STILL asks me for registration/login when trying to purchase a product.

Why is that? How can I disable registration/login once and for all?

Hello Pau,
Does your product has a tax and shipping?
If yes, then it needs a registration to calculate the shipping and tax.

Thanks for your response.

I just marked shipping as "freen" in the item preferencies, but i cannot found anything about tax.

Where can i found it?

Hello Pau,

For tax, shipping > tax
For preferences Shipping > Preferences

Make sure your product has no shipping at all even free shipping because it will still need an address because how would the seller knows where the item is shipped?

You must have an electronic product or item with no shipping specified.

Hi Auguste.

What i would like to do is a very very basic ecommerce, where we only sell one product.

On this ecommerce, we would like to do not ask the users to register. Only pay and enter adress etc and thats it.

It is possible with your extension?

Hello Pau,

There is a feature called guest checkout. Where user only enter an email address and can checkout... then the system will automatically register the user by sending him his login credentials via email in case he wants to login to track the orders, refunds, etc...

Is this something that could work out for you?

If you want to not register people at all in the website but want to ask for shipping, this is not possible at the moment but can be developed if requested.
