So far while setting up jMarket (and jContacts, and jSubscriptions), I've come across a number of issues and questions I need some help with.

Issues

  1. Need to re-add avatar if error registering (password didn’t meet requirements). - This multiplies the files on our server.

  2. After registering, the user info is blank - confirmation screen?

  3. Clicked the approve link, then clicked Approve button, blank screen with only Joomla shell.

  4. Clicked on edit after approving the user, goes to the welcome to Joobi page

  5. When we approve a user, we then have to go to Joomla user manager and enable them. This should be done by approving the user.

  6. Do I have to manually add the jMarket access groups to Joomla? They don’t appear in the Joomla user groups area, only jMarket

  7. How do we use off-site storage for storing items people upload?

  8. Going through the vendor tutorial from the front end (as a vendor), the page keeps going back to the user home page (edit profile, orders, coupons, programs, commissions). After clicking Next each time.

  9. There are a number of typos in the tutorial popups. How can I edit these so our customers and vendors don’t see errors?

  10. Clicking the tools button from the Joobi : jMarket page goes to Languages

  11. When I click the Close button in the Credit Card Types window, it just sits there “Loading…” but doesn’t close the window.

  12. When I click the Subscriptions icon from the Joobi > Subscriptions screen, it takes me to the Joobi welcome screen. When I click Subscriptions from there, it takes me to a blank page with the Joomla shell.

  13. When I clicked Cancel from the create a subscription screen, it went to a blank page with Joomla shell.

  14. When I go to jMarket > Catalog > Listings : Subscriptions it gives me a blank screen with the Joomla shell.

Questions

  1. Is there an option to turn off autoplay for audio/video files? This way the visitor has to press play in order to hear or view?

  2. Is there a “copy” option for vendors to duplicate a product already in their shop?

  3. Can we shrink the size of the Category blocks/thumbnails?

  4. Can we default the username field when registering to be the email address?

  5. How can I change what FontAwesome icon to use for the rating system? I'd like to use something other than stars.
    Tools > Themes > joomla30 (mmp) > Edit Theme Design > Catalog Design > Catalog > Star Icon - How do I change it from a star to something else?

  6. I'm trying to follow the Home Layout Configuration documentation, but I don't have a "Home Layout" tab on the Catalog Preferences screen. Is it located somewhere else?

First of all we recommend you to use a live test site to evaluate our apps and not on a localhost so that we can help you diagnose your concerns. Let's move through the list you have given us:

ISSUES:
1-5, make sure you set your contact management to "Contacts" on jApps >> preferences, then re-do the scenario. Let us know how it goes
6 - what is the purpose you want to do this?
7 - we support the local storage option / amazon storage as for the moment. If you want a different integration from a 3rd party application, please submit a support ticket for a customization quote
8 - you need to fill up the details for it to work, not just click next
9 - jApps >> Design >> tour
10 - That is the default designation, so that is normal
11 - Is this on the back-end or front-end? If it appears as a pop-up / modal, did you use the correct close button of the modal itself
12-14. I assume you have a corrupted jSubscrption install. Please navigate to components >> jApps >> apps. Click on jSubscription and on the next page you are redirected to, click on "reinstall". Then retry the scenario


QUESTIONS
1. Is this a preview file?
2. On the back-end this should be already available on jMarket >> catalog >> listings
3. Yes, go through jMarket >> Catalog >> catalog preferences to set thumbnail dimensions
4. No, you won't see any registration form that has a default username already setup in the web.
5. This isn't a feature as for now. If you want an integration to the FontAwesome Icon, please submit a separate ticket for this for a customization quote
6. I assume you already enabled flexible layout on jMarket >> Catalog >> catalog preferences, so disable that for the moment

If you are still having issues on any of the aforementioned list above please submit 1 ticket per 1 issue, so that we can be organized, as we will be having a hard time to diagnose all issues if you put it on one ticket. Also, we will recommend you

You can click on Marketplace in the navigation to get to the actual marketplace. I can supply login information privately if you need it.

1-5: I haven't had a chance to re-test this, but I do have Contacts set as my User Management Back-End and User Management Front-End. I will try again and get back to you hopefully tomorrow or next week.
6: Since I don't fully understand the software yet, this question may not apply. When I looked at the user permissions through Joomla's default area, I did not see the jMarket groups and thought that was an issue.
7: I would be looking at Amazon for external storage, but I did not see the location where I would specify this or link to my Amazon account. Can you point me in the right direction?

11: Back end, and I just clicked Close. I had to click the X in the corner to close the modal window (which is fine). The Close button didn't close the modal window like I expected it to. Not a big deal, I just thought it was broken or something happened.
12-14: I reinstalled jSubscription and so far everything is working. I think you were right; I had a corrupted install.

Questions
1: Yes, it's an audio preview file. Also, the audio keeps playing even if I click stop or pause. (http://marketplaceformusicians.com/marketplace/catalog/i_asked_the_lord-item-2.html)
2: Is there a way to copy a listing from the front end if my vendors only have access to the front end of the site? We don't want them logging in to the Joomla administrator.

5: If I were to do the customizing myself, are you able to tell me what files I need to edit, or if there is an option to add a "custom" file that the software sees as an override? Something so when I edit it, it isn't erased when I install an update? Does that make sense? I can code and do CSS myself, just not sure what files you have the rating in.
