Landifa was founded in 2015 with the objective of providing an online platform for Namibian consumers to be able to trade and sell goods. One of the aims the company was to increase ecommerce usage within the country and try get as many people as possible buying and selling online, thus boosting the economy. The online site is available to anyone to use but with a target focus on Namibia and South Africa. www.landifa.com

Project Info

Our initial project was a launch of our test site and was done to a controlled/selected group of individuals with the intention to get as much feedback as possible from the locals. The site has received wonderful feedback on its functionality and ability to allow vendors to sell their products. The challenges we faced were related to some functionality that has not been activated yet, which will form part of phase 2.

Joobi was chosen as the ecommerce partner to assist in designing the online experience

The main reasons for choosing Joobi

- It integrates very well with Joomla which we were already on.

- It has apps/features that come ready made and are easy to customize.

- Products such as jMarket, jStore, jTickets were the main tools we used to complete phase 1.

Now we busy revamping the website to include more features and re-launch the site.
