JNews > text version loses all linebreaks?

Dear Support,

when sending a newsletter, the plain-text version loses all linebreaks (paragraphs). Also manually inserting them doesn’t seem to work. Do you have any clue, why this is happening or what we eventually are doin’ wrong?

This issue is common in the older version of jNews. This issue is already fixed in the 8.2 versions.

Please tell me your jNews version and your site URL or order number so we can check your details and send you the latest package.

Dear Cheryl.

Thank you for the info. I upgraded already to 8.2.1 Core, therefore it should work now.

I’m awaiting confirmation from my client and will give you feedback asap.

I'm using jnews pro 8.2.3 and I have exactly the same problem! In the text version all linebreaks are removed.

Hi Cheryll,
my client sent another newsletter a few days ago and the result was the same.

I tested if adding text manual instead of copy'n'paste would change anything but it didn't. Do you have any idea what's causing the text-editor to strip the breaks? When lookin' at the editor window everything seems fine, but the mails lose all the breaks.

We apologize for the delayed. We have this new version of jNews now with few improvements and fixes.

I tested the text only and it works.

We use the free version of jNews, you posted a Pro-update. Is that a problem? Or can I just install it over the old 8.2.1?
