Shopper groups allow you to organize your users, and give them discounts and/or restrict purchase access to specific product categories. They are most commonly used for separating wholesale customers from retail customers and requiring customers to log in before they can view any store item prices.

Creating Shopper Groups

Step 1 Create ACL/ROLE

Before you start to create your shoppers' groups, you need to decide the ACL/Role you want to assign for each group.
Please refer to "Joobi Role and Joomla ACL" article to learn how to create and manage access level.

Step 2 Create shopper group
  • From the admin panel, [any Joobi eCommerce] >> Vendor >> Shopper groups
  • Click New to create your group
  • Fill in all the required fields and specify the Access level that you've create in Step 1
  • Click [Save] once you are done

Step 3 Assign shoppers' groups to products
  • Go to [any Joobi eCommerce] >> Catalog >> edit any product or create a new one
  • From the product edit page, general tab >> Pricing >> select Shopper Groups
  • You should see a new option "Price" with a button "Edit Shoppers' Prices"
  • Click Edit Shoppers' Prices button to add the prices for different groups
  • Save your changes
