Translate your store into your local language. Joobi products are translated in over 40+ local languages. Most of the translations are contributed by our international members and some using an in-house machine translation which we used to help you save 90% of your time translating it yourself-unfortunately with our tool translations may not be 100% perfect.

However we also have an integration with Transifex so that translator can easily translate all our applications in any language. Help us translate and we will give you a Free license to the product you'll translate for as long as you maintain the translations.

Requirements

  • You need to install a language other than English in your Joomla language manager.

You can Translate Joobi apps in 3 easy ways:

Before you can start translating, you need to synchronize the languages.

  1. Navigate to jApps >> Tools >> Languages
  2. From the languages area, click Synchronize button at the top navigation

Vocabulary list: Fast and Convenient (Recommended)

All strings are in the vocabulary list. Simply search for the string you want to translate, edit and save. Done!

  1. Navigate to jApps >> Tools >> Languages
  2. From the languages page, click "vocabulary" button
  3. Search for the word that you want to translate

Pros: You can translate a string all at once

Cons: Since it will translate all strings, you cannot translate just one specific word unless you know the exact string code.

If you feel like sharing your Translation, please feel free to contact our support or upload it directly to our Transifex project and receive a little something in return.

2 Using Direct Edit: Localized and Specific

Direct Edit feature allows any website owner/user with a correct access level to edit ANY views from the Joobi software administration and frontend area in few simple clicks!

Please visit article about "Edit any View without PHP Skills" under Design Customization section to get more details.

Note

All your changes will not be overwritten during upgrade. We only insert new strings at the bottom of the existing translation.

3 Translate locally: batch processing

Export the translation in to your local computer. jApps > Tools > Languages

You can then use your favorite text editor and start translating. Once you are done, simply import back the file.
